Omar F. Ahmad, M.D.
Dr. Ahmad received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University. He completed his medical degree from The Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the State University of New York - Brooklyn. He then completed a two year Vitreo-Retinal medical / surgical fellowship at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Schepens Retina Associates. He went on to found Chesapeake Retina Centers. He has authored several articles in peer reviewed journals. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
